  • Little Spain: A Dining Experience

    Restaurant:

    Tierre Brindisa
    46 Broadwick Street
    London
    Tel 020 7534 1690

    Tongue Pleasers:

Iberion loin-fantastic, buttery cured meat; table favourite
Seared foie gras with stewed lentils-rich and complimented by lentils
Octopus “Galician style”-served with roasted & fried potato nuggets
Baby squid in Manzanilla wine-a simple but enjoyable dish
    Chicken Croquette-more chicken, less croquette
Alejandro chorizo in cider-taken with an order of country bread
Purple sprouted broccoli w/slivered almonds and chilies- + veg addition
Deep fried goat cheese with blossom petal honey glaze - perfect finale

    Accompanied By:

Rosado; Peregrino (Pietro Picudo), Leon - taste of berries; fruity and soft on the palate
Red; Alais 2006, Castilla Leon - scent and a mouthful of pepper; distinct but smooth
    Classic bottle of coca cola
    BeluĀ bottled mineral water

    Overall:

Difficult to comment based on a lack of London fine dining experiences; however, for the most part, a very pleasing (regarding food, ambiance and company) experience all together

    Would I Re-visit?:

After I’ve tried Casa Brindisa :)
