    Tiger! Tiger! burning bright
    In the forests of the night,
    What immortal hand or eye
    Could frame thy fearful symmetry?
    //
    When the stars threw down their spears,
    And watered heaven with their tears,
    Did he smile his work to see?
    Did he who made the Lamb make thee?

    Here in the land that housed William Blake, we thought it would only be fitting to name our adventures after “Songs of Innocence”, the volume of poetry he wrote about looking at the world through a child’s eyes.

    Because that’s what the next eight(ish) months will be about!: wonderment, discovery, impish joy, spontaneity.

    If you’ve stumbled on this blog, you probably know that we are two Canadian girls that have made the 8-time zone jump to England. It is our hope that by the end of our journey, we will be able to also echo Blake’s volume of poetry called “Songs of Experience.”

    Stay tuned!

    Love, Joann and Maggie
